3 bar map sensor problem car shuts off
i just hooked up the map sensor. never used a volt meter so not sure how to use it. but when i start the car it starts and then just shuts right back off. not sure whats wrong just don't understand

why the hell are you using a 3Bar Map? are you using a standalone or something? are you boosted? there's no need for you to use a 3Bar if you're not boosted. you need to go into more detail.
well honestly do u think i would just stick a 3 bar map sensor in there for no reason. i am running a t3 turbo set up with a fully built motor and 550 injectors. i am running a s200 hondata system with boost option. the hondata is set up with a base map to run my 550 injectors on a ls motor thanx

good...glad to hear that. well honestly you didn't make yourself clear at first...no one even understood what you were really asking. but to get to the point, you can't just install a 3 bar map without changing the program on your map/chip in your ecu. you have to reprogram your chip and change your MAP sensor option to 3 bar and you'll be set.
