Default Need help with rear brakes!

Hey,

I know I need new bads in the rear I just need to know what type of caliper piston is on the rear caliper for my 94 civic EX. I need to know if I need a special tool to compress the caliper piston or if I can just do it with a c-clamp/chanel locks? Thanks guys!

You need to twist it as you push in. It won't push straight in like the fronts.

Hey,
Thanks for the info. I have done similar brake jobs on other types of cars before. Do you think I can compress it with a pair of needle nose pliars?

That's the tool my Haynes manual recommends. I used a strip of aluminium I had laying around. You can use whatever probably, it's not too tough of a job.
