Anyone have experience with the Boomslang obd0-obd1 conversion harness?
Well part two of my z6 swap... wiring!!!
Today I got a p28 so i decided to go for my obd1 wiring!! Why the hell not?
Well here is what I had to work with:
obd1 dizzy (for the z6 head)
4 wire o2 sensor
p28 ecu
wire
connectors
and of course the Boomslang harness itself.
First I installed the 4 wire o2 connecting all the wires where the instructions boomslang sent me said to.
Second I repinned my white dizzy plug onto the obd1 dizzy as told in the instructions
Last I wired up VTEC, VTEC oil pressure and the ground for that
Then I went to fire the car up and NOTHING!!
I checked all my wiring twice over and everything was as said to be from the instructions...
My questions is, anyone have experience with this conversion harness? Are there any flaws in the instructions? Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance

PM HT member Origin. He had the same problem with his conversion and it was his dizzy wires. I fixed them for him and it cranked right up , so ask him to take a pic of it and send it to you or post it.....
The colors given in the distributor wire color chart are for the engine harness side for both OBD0 and OBD1. Use the OBD1 engine harness distributor plug on the OBD0 engine harness.

The instructions/wiring is normally messed up for the distributor wiring. If you can't figure it out, let me know and I will help.

The instructions are complete with colors and pin locations. The wiring is perfect. The $1000 wire harness testing machine we use doesn't lie.

Thanks.

Thanks, its probably a wiring confusion. The wires are old and hard to tell the color. I will keep playing with it.
