Installed my header/cat this weekend. Help I ran into a problem!
So, I'm taking a break from my 240 project and wanted to work on my teg for awhile. Since the teg runs.
Anyways, I installed my comptech header and a high flow cat that I bought from IPS Racing.

After I had everything installed and I took it for a drive I noticed it had a horrible rattle. Bad enough where I can really feel it through the shifter. So I brang the car back and got under it and found out the heatshield was rubbing. No big deal, easy fix... but I noticed the O2 sensor is up against the shifter. See pic..

Any ideas? I could try to find a way to pull the exhaust/cat over to one side just a little and that could solve the problem but I figured I'd check on here to see what others have done. Thanks!

I would call IPS and make sure they sent you the correct cat for your car. I would also ask them if they have had this problem reported before because it looks like a placement flaw by the welders or the manufactures. By the look of the pic's it doesn't seem to be away around it. Look at your stock cat and the position of the o2 hole on it and see if they match up in anyway. Goodluck!
