Default whats a good price to pay for an alarm install?

I am thinking about an alarm that has auto start, shock, proximity, basically all options. I was thinking of asking someone to install it for me, but what is a decent price to expect to pay or offer?

You can expect to pay about 5hr labour for the basic alarm/starter, I my shop thats $200, that includes lightflash, hood pin, and 2nd ign. other options are extra.

BE CAREFULL of anyone saying they can do it in less then 5hr, I can do I in about 1hr but the warranty is void as soon as you back out of shop

A good install will take a good installer 4 to 5 hrs to do, any less then that, hes cutting corners.

hope this helps. 94

at my shop you'd be looking at $80 for basic install. includes door pins, shock sensor, siren, LED and light flash. for locks (if car already has p-locks) your looking at another $40. for remote start your looking at atleast another $80. then prox is another $35. hood and trunk pins would be $25 each. for everything at my shop you be looking at around $285. and thats not including the alram or any extra's you might need like relays or bypass modules for the remote start. but we do the viper responder full install with everything for $550, thats not bad.
