There haven't been many posts on the subject and I thought I'd try and see how people's plans are coming along for the banquet, day at the track, roadtrips, etc.

I'd like to take this opportunity to thank Trey for following through with the event, come hell or high water (as they say)!

I think I'm leaving w/the Chicago caravan on Thur. morning. That should put us in PA in the evening, just in time for some food and such. Friday, relax, whatever, banquet. Sat...drive. Sunday, drive back to Chicago.

 

Ah yes, the Expo is coming! Thanks Trey & Crew.

I just had a little teaser at Summit this weekend and am fully pumped for the Expo now. I'm gonna leave Friday morning and I guess come home Saturday night.

Things left to do:
- have fd installed
- bleed brakes
- get 2 new Azenis mounted
- wax car

Whew, I dunno if 11 days is enough

 

chris, doubleA and i are heading out thursday as well. i know magic hat is crashing in my room but i don't know if he's getting there thurs or fri, if not till friday you're more than welcome to grab a bed in my room ed.

 

My plan

- Replace Motul brake fluid that is finally brown and 'old' after 2,000 track/5,000 street miles
- Drive Beaver with Audi club this weekend
- Change oil
- Expo
- Autocross sunday in richmond

 

Current plans are to arrive Thursday afternoon/night, and leave on Sunday.

11 days = :Whew:

this weekend = Sonoma (leave Thursday at 2:00pm and get back Monday at 6:00am) for the SVWC race.

Car:
-new timing belt and tensioner are on
-oil and filter to be changed this evening
-tranny fluid flush
-have 2 more used tires mounted so I don't have to drive on track with cords showing
-put the interior back in for the show-off
-think about putting the yellow fender on the car so all panels match
-wash the underhood
-clean the inside of the car
-leave the outside dirty (~5 months of mung).

 

Who is planning on going to the P1 dyno day on thursday? I am thinking about driving into Charlotte on thursday about noon from Jacksonville and staying over there to party then head up with whoever is leaving on friday morning to the track...

 

Damn all these peeps r0llin on Thursday I think I might try and get Thurs off as well. Me and Ohtheguilt will be r0llin deep.

I need to:
-bleed brakes
-dismount MX's from 929 wheels, and mount on the SSRs.

I think thats it....

 

I'll be rolling in on the Friday. Talk about slacking off big time. Just got the phone booking the hotel a min ago. hahaha

 

i should be there by thrusday 5pm the latest. Cant wait to hit the pool

I haven't heard from Clayton (ausmith) so I assume he's traveling separately.
