Default RSX ecu question and concerns......

Ok so some jackass tried breaking into my car but ended up just leaving a fat *** dent in the car. So now my concern is someone stealing my car. So my question is if I get hondata or a JDM ecu will that make my immobilzer useless and not working and allow them to steal my car. If this is the true. I will be investing in a REALLY niiiice alarm before I get a new ecu.

Thanks

Hondata retains the immobilizer..

Toda does as well, unless you request to purchase an ECU from them w/the immobilizer removed, which they sell as well..

What about that jdm ecu if I put that in my car does it still retain the immobilizer? I am thinking about taking my motor out and then putting it in a EG and then getting a type R motor for my car. just a thought though.

you won't have the immobilizer if you use the JDM ecu. so yeah better alarm and removeble steering wheel and cluch lock is a must.......
