i have a 96 civic ex, and when im just driving along it spudders but when i get on it, it goes away, i checked the compression and its perfect, so i dont think theres any bent valves or anything, its getting the correct spark, im thinking it may be the fuel pump, i have brand new plugs ,wires, and fuel filter im out of ideas can anyone help?

 

no check engine light? check the O2 for fouling.

 

Timing? Did you gap the plugs to spec?

 

Have you done anyting with the intake manifold?
I had the same problem when i replaced it, and there was the smallest air leak
It would spudder till about 2500 then would go away
Try tightening your intake manifold down and if it continues try replacing your gasket.
