Default Brake problems. Pads not braking across entire rotor surface.

Just upgraded the brakes on my 89 CRX. CRX VT knuckles (same things as SiR only EDM) 15/16" master cylinder and brake booster from a CRX VT, 2000 Civic Si calipers , brembo rotors and Ferodo DS2500 brake pads.
Now I have a problem with the drivers side front brakes. The outer pad doesn´t contact across the entire surface of the rotor.
What could be the cause of this ? I have not yet completely bled the brake system (pedal is a little mushy still) , could this be a cause for this problem ?
The passenger side is fine , and I can only feel a difference in braking power if I really stand on the brake pedal.
I unbolted the caliper from the knuckle , and the caliper slides very smoothly on the brackets sliders. The piston also works well.
I´m really stumped on this problem and don´t know where to start troubleshooting.
I´ve uploaded two pictures to show the problem :

Passenger side , note that the pads contact area ends just below the slits :

Drivers side , note that the contact area ends just above the slits :
