Need a little info about J30, J32 engine series
Hi, haven't posted here in a while. No longer own the Prelude but now have a'04 Accord 6 speed coupe. I'm a little surprised as this is quite a bit different car to drive than the 'Lude. Just getting used to it. I've had it for about 5 months and have 7500 miles on it. Just reaching the point now that I am no longer missing the 'Lude (didn't think being without it would be so difficult). Anyway, I've seen tons of info about the H22 engine on this site. I'd like to learn something about the J30 engine in the Accord. When it was introduced, all possible design details, anything.
I was hoping someone had some information or could direct me to a site with some information about these engines. I guess it's just a run of the mill engine like a Buick V6 or something (that's was a Buick 350 V8 that someone at Buick had the bright idea to cut two cylinders off and make a V6 for thier compact cars back in the early '60's). Turns out GM now uses this engine in most of its car lineup and has even made some impressive performance cars using it. No one knows anything about Honda's V6's
