Default opinions wanted, stick with 98 front end or do 99 conversion

ok i jsu tbought a black 98 auto 4dr cvic that went into a ditch to 2400 bucks. it only has 50000 miles, so i hoped on it. ok it needs a core support, hood, front bumper, grille, and headlights. so i pretty much need everything excpet teh fenders and i could jsut do a 99 conversion for only like 200 dollars more. what do u think i should do, convert it to 99 or do it cheaper and stick with a 98 fornt end. also not sure if im going to keep it, so do u think the front end converiosn would raise the value any
car also has springs, intake, and exhuast if that matters
thanks
David

by changing the front end to a '99 Conversion could raise the value if doing a person to person sell, However when changing any bodywork or the fact that it has been wrecked usually lowers the car's value. Keep in mind that people are also interested in Carbon Fiber Bodywork, so if doing a person to person (private) sell this could raise the value as well. I have posted a link where you might be able to find some carbon fiber bodyparts for the frontm of your car. Good Luck.

wantin to keep it basic, not going to go crazty on it. it went into a ditch, it still has a clean title the kid did it on his road...drove it out, then home. it runs and everything, so there is no salvage title

I would say just leave it stock. What is the point of changing anything if you are just going to sell it? You might even want to take off the springs and exhaust and stuff sell that stuff to, then you would have a 100% stock car. That is what i think a lot of people are lookin for when buying a car.

okay, well i guess it all depends if your going to keep it or not. If your going to sell it to a certified Dealer, then it does'nt really matter. They'll just look at the bodywork as another way to lower its value.

if ur gonna sell it just keep the 96-98 front end. if u plan on keeping it then 99-00 front end is what i would do.
