Default 98 to 99 conversion

hey everyone, i was wondering if anyone has done a 99 front end conversion on a 96-98 civic. i want to do that on my hatch, but i'm not sure of everything that's involved. i know i need new hood, fenders, headlights, and bumper, but am i missing anything? do i need to change out the radiator support? what else do i need? degree of difficulty? please help guys!

You do need all the parts listed as you mentioned . There was a post regarding this conversion made about 4 or so weeks ago . I think the guy decided to scrap the idea . If you do a search you will find it . I think he named the post just like yours .

It's as simple as unbolting all of your panels/etc.. (hood, fenders, bumper, headlights) and bolting on the new ones..

I'm using the 98 rad support. Does anyone know if the hood latch/hinge have to be modified for the 99-00 hood to close properly?

No its not. At least not for the bumper part.
Well it was for a friend of mine with a 96 HB and a 99 front end..

Nope. Radiator support is just fine, no need to mess with it, just make sure when you put the 99 hood on, you adjust the hinges so it all lines up correctly.
