Default Painting engine

What precautions should i take when painting the block of my car? Also could I see pics of people who have painted the block, thanks

Well, mask anyhting you don't want paint on....
make sure the block is cleaned with a degreaser
Use best engine paint you can afford
and make sure you follow the direction on the can.

You have about a 100% chance of that looking like ****...

here's a link if you look at the customer rides...the 98 turbo prelude...the spoon b18c5...and the turbo b16 motor...you'll see in some of the pics..that all the blocks are painted orange...only pics i could find that i had...

It's either going to be the block or the valve cover. I thought it would look nice to color coat a part of the engine to the car.

yeah...i wouldnt recommend painting the block white, unless its a stricktly show car

but, its not my car.
