Canon A80 owners
I'm thinking about purchasing this camera. Are you guys happy with it? what are some pros and cons with this camera? I think that it seems like a steal for the $299 retail price. I've read reviews for it and it seems like a great camera. Thanks in advance for any info!
sample pics are appreciated.

I love the camera. I'm not a photographer or anything, but the camera takes good pics and is easy to use. The only thing I don't like about the camera is that it uses 4 AA batteries, but you should be okay if you get rechargable batteries.
I am a proud owner of an a80. I actually got it a week ago. I paid $270 shipped 3-5 days shipping from buydig.com. The battery thing is not a problem, all you need is some rechargeable batteries, I'm still using the same batteries I put in yesterday to take pics at hot import daze and then the sportcar motion meet, so basically my camera was in heavy use for 2 straight days and still going.
I love the camera when i barely knew how to use it, and now that i know how to use it, i love it more. you can search anywhere on the internet and not get a bad review for the a80.
4 mp with a swinging lcd screen
only thing i don't like is small lcd screen
and it is not a compact design.
but i did fit them into my pants pocket.
the pros >> the cons

that swayed me into believing that the canon a80 is the only choice out there.
as my photo skills are growing, i'm starting to wish i had a camera with mroe capabilities like a nikon 5400 or a canon g5. but this is more than enough for the beginner who wants to take quality pics.
