the method i used was to get a spray bottle and fill it half water/half soap. i used a razor blade to get the edge of the tint off enough so i could pull it and then just sprayed the soap water, pulled a little more, sprayed, pulled, etc (repeat as necessary).

the soap water helps disolve the glue but it wont get it off clean, it just helps get the film off. there will be a little glue stuck on the window so cleaning it w/ a towel and rubbing alcohol would work.

there might be better suggestions but i found this way pretty easy, cost effective, and not so time consuming. took about 15 minutes i suppose

yep. soappy water spray bottle.
Or you can spray the window down with water and put a plastic bag on it (tint side). Do this in the hot sun, and the tint will fall right off. It takes 10mins or so.

So you put the garbage bag on the inside of the window? Does this work well for the rear window? Im worried about ripping off all my defroster lines.

well, you can't be too careful about the defroster lines cause even professionals **** em up. its damn there impossible to have all of them working again once you take off the tint.

when the cops popped me for my front window tint, i just got the edge off with a razor blade and that was it. came off clean... didnt need any soapy water or anything.

the tint had been applied within a year and was 5% so i dont know if that makes a difference
