Help Please (Frozen Bolt on Mount)
Im doing a jdm d15b swap into my 93 civic ex. Im in the process of taking the motor out the car and have everything unhooked expect the rear engine mount bracket.
There are 3 bolts, I have one of the three but 2 others are frozen. They arent rusted or anything just god damn stuck on. Ive tried my 140 ft lbs impact wrench like 10 times, no luck. Ive tried pb blaster, heat, breaker bars, no luck. I even broke a craftsman socket on it with the breaker bar.
What else is there to do? I need this car in working order ASAP so your help would be very much appreciated.
I have considered just cutting the bracket off but Im not sure If i want to tdo that.

140 lbs is nothing....go to sears buy the 600 ft pound 1/2 inch gun, it has a black front and a colored hard plastic abs back, with a 4 position dial on it. Use it, and return it. It is the same gun basicly as the top of the line Mac, Matco, and Snap On with lower grade parts inside, but they share the same case. I personally would just keep the tool, but it may be on the expensive side. The craftsman will hold up great aslong as you oil it b4 and after use, dont abuse it, and dont use it every day (ie a shop). Then again its a lifetime guarantee
Well the impact wrench i have is 340 ft lbs but my compressor only goes up to 140 psi. Wait so why would it be only 140 ft lbs lol? Forget that but i doubt the impact is at full capacity with the compressor.
if u can and there is nothing in the way get a mutane torch( the hand held ones??) and heat it up realllly well and i guarantee u it will come off....but i dont remember exactly everything that is around this bolt so double check...
wow really, the motor is out of the vechicle correct? if so keep heating it up and just a 1/2 ratchet if thats the biggest you have and try to find a bar or something to make it longer for more leverage and try then

ok im sorry but this is the mount connected to the tranny correct? why not just undo the one bolt for the back mount and yank it out and then worry about pulling the bracket off when its out

Because that bolt seems close to impossible to get to. If i need to I will clear stuff out to get it.

if he cant get it off with an air gun, theres no way in hell he will get it off with an air rachet.
If your gun is no good at 90, its because the internals beat to hell opperating at 140 psi...
I would try to get a 6 point socket on the bolt, 1/2 inch breaker bar, with a pipe on it, that should take care of it? Um, Righty Tighty, Lefty Loosey right? lol
Also, are you trying to turn a stationary nut instead of the bolt?

Its not a stationary nut trust me. Hopefully i can this **** off. This is what I find prob the hardest part of the swap. Putting everything back on is gonna be cake in my eyes.
