I have two questions:
why is my 90 crx dx rev limiter kicking in at 3500 rpm????????????????
what is the easiest/cheapest/funnest way to send my engine to hell before I put in a vtec swap???

 

wanna blow an engine...take an intake tube and a few gallons of water...turn on the car...put the intake tube in the water....and see how much water it takes before it blows or siezes. ha while your at it drain the oil and run it w/o oil...

 

Hehe, Luis, thats a really good idea What i'd do is experiment if the engine would or can run using pure cooking oil or maybe put koo-laid in the radiator and see how that works, or maybe unhook the ECU and rev the car to 8000 RPM and see how longs it takes for it to blow up

 

godamm guys i want a few mods that will increase horsepower while screwing over my engine in a few hundred miles@!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

10lb bottle of NO2 and a direct line into the intake manifold or intake pipe. Get someone to hold the bottle in the passenger seat and you drive....Open the valve and see how long she goes while having a huge shot of NO2 in there. Speculation is around 25 seconds

Or do a Castrol Syntec test....Put some Castrol oil in your car...Run it...Drain the oil and go beat the crap outta it and see how long it runs. Record the time....Call CAstrol and tell them they are liers.

ok try advancing your Cam gear (if you have one) as far as it will go or crank your distributer all the way and run the hell outta your car

 

I dont think this will blow the engine but id say take the header off and run that ****

i agree! 50 shot NOS! we hooked one up on a 93 d16z6. that car wasn't driven much though. it lasted about a week. total running time with NOS about 6 minutes (not all at once either). but it did the job on blowin the motor.

 

Well if you use it right a motor will last a while with a 50 shot

 

**** ive seen a moron throw a 75 shot on a d16 and it held then he ran 100 shot of n20 and it still held so the honda motor can take it id throw the 100 shot and blow the **** out of it and first check the wires the revlimiter might be comin on if the plug wires are ran incorectly

 

just get a bottle and squeeze 100shot. try to race all the domestics you can and see how bad you get beat
