96 dx harness.
95 GSR engine.

somehow, the IAC plug got lost under my IM. its honest to god lost. dont ask me how.

anyway, the car rus great as is. but it idles super low, like 500RPM and throws a code 14, IACV. so i need to independently wire this. its a 2 wire plug, so what pinouts do they go to!?

anyhelp would be appreciated.

 

If the plug is still attached to the wire why don't you tug on the wire...

Or are you saying it was cut and dropped...

If so you should be able to get it... try a coathanger...

ive searched, there are two wires. A9 is the pinout for "IACV". thats good to know, but were does the other wire go? is it a ground?

remember my motor and ecu are OBD1. not 2.

 

The other wire is +12v.

Even though you may have lost your 3-wire IACV connector, the wires should still be there unless something grabbed the connector and yanked the wires clean outta the ECU connector too.

So, you need to get a 2-wire IACV connector and solder that on which should match up with 2 of the 3 existing wires (Yel/Blk and Blk/Blu, leave the orange alone). Then you need to move the wire that currently resides in A14 and move it to the empty location at A12.

The +12v, Yel/Blk wire, comes from the a bus connector that also supplies +12v to the injectors.

Even though you are OBD1, the intermediate harness will take care of the IACV wiring on the OBD1 side....you still gotta move the wire from A14 into A12 and then from A12, through the adapter harness, it should connect to A9.
