my power steering belt keeps on ripping. i have bought to now and i will have to buy another one tomorrow. why does this keep happening?

 

align yourself to the power steering
pulley see if it wobles if it does there ya go....
thats your reason....
dont forget that its not supposed to be too tight also...

 

Yeah! Those pulley wheels have pritty shape edgesMake sure they are perfectly aligned!

 

if there not perfectly alined then is it hard to aline them?

 

i just looked at my belt and it is all f*cked up. theres like no belt left. it looks like someone tor it in half. i just bought the belt and it was not the cheep one.

 

Look at the alignment of the pulleys. The belt needs to go perfectly straight from one pulley to the other. Do you maybe have the PS belt going to the wrong pulley on the crank? So it goes at an angle & tears itself up?

Are you sure the belt isn't rubbing against something??
