I went to a cousin's friend motorshop and I had my LS engine swapped in. 3 shops told me I couldn't use a 91 tranny for a 99 block because the spline wont work right. the shop told me I needed a 91 LS tranny... so I bought a rebuilt one from a junkyard. now the shop said they rebuilt it wrong because the spline looked like it was for a hydro tranny but the casing and the tranny system was cable. so I went after a while I went ahead and told the shop that to get me one and I have a spare tranny lying around in my garage.

Then 4th of july weekend the shop was robbed... my car lost a sub 2 500 watt sony amps and they broke my head unit when they were trying to steal it. weird thing was that, I was the only one stolen from all the other cars were not touched or were "vandalized" (tagged on by key.) I thought about it for a minute and noticed that there were no signs of forced entry... there fore it was either one of them or someone left my car unlocked. I looked into other cars and there were gauges still in boxes lying on the floor... nice steering wheels and no wings were jacked. now they said that the insurance will only cover what was in the bay and office... but anything in the gated lot was not covered by insurance. they gave me 200 dollars off my transplant but the system cost me over 1150... this is my cousins friend who I think not only ripped me off but stole from me or helped.

the swap was ugly... and they didnt notice that i gave them a b16 mount kit instead of b18 so the engine sat too low. on my way w/ my car my friend behind me noticed that there were sparks comming out from underneath and his car was covered in radiator fluid. smoke was comming from the vents... and it was butt freakin ugly. I brought it back. after watching it... i noticed that the crank pully cut half way into the radius rod... (or the rod that was connected from the front of the frame to a side of it on an angle.) I think that they may charge me for that too. the most they said was "I thought the engine sat at a funny angle." this is a nightmare." I think I am not going to tell them that it was a b16 mount kit... but at the same time I want my car back...!

My brother said threaten them w/ lawsuit... but I was installing a dl motor. these are people who "acted cool w/ me" "but was digging a grave for me at the same time"
I need help... what should I do... what could I do... how do i get my car back fast... and have it running like a dream. who wants to buy a 91 ls cable tranny and / or exedy stage 1 clutch kit?

That sucks dude. Yeah I was thinking as I read this if there was evidence of a break in. If there was a robbery ask them for the police report or call the police and let them know your stuff was stolen. That might scare them a bit.

Definitely call the police and have them check it out. It may be that the shop guys screwed up on the swap so in order to hide their mistakes they just used the old robbery trick as an excuse.
