Default Sold my R, out with the old, in with the new.... some old/new pics

Well, on Friday I closed the deal on the sale of my Type R. I pretty much gave her away and I will keep the details of the sale to myself and a few close friends. It's been a fun ride, definately a learning and humbling experience, but I'm a stronger person and have some of the best friends through the Type R crew then anyone could ever ask for.
Some final pics of her.... 2001 #0801

She will be lined up next to these....

And the new ride

I can't leave this place though

Nice replacement. Yuck.

Why in the world do you need an SUV if you live in Florida? What about the ITR was so impractical?

What the **** is your impression of florida? Nothing but beaches and civilization?

Florida is, beyond anything else, a big ******* hick state.

This vehicle is far more practical for his life/work than the ITR was.

SUVs do serve a purpose. ITRs are good cars, but come on.

on getting rid of that overhyped piece of **** honda Marc

I went from my ITR to a double cab Toyota truck. I LOVE it. It is so much nicer than driving the ITR all the time. It is quiet, rides smooth, isn't STOLEN, and seats 5 people, etc etc. on the new purchase. Too bad you couldn't keep the ITR as a weekend car. Driving the ITR about once a week is enough for me.

I go to Florida a lot, actually. Why do you need to swear at me?

I was just asking why he bought such a drastically different automobile...it doesn't seem like Florida demands an inclement-weather vehicle like that, unless Marc is some sort of Crocodile farmer.

What kind of purpose? Sitting high above traffic? lol...

Cause it generates a response, no other reason really

<TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">I was just asking why he bought such a drastically different automobile...it doesn't seem like Florida demands an inclement-weather vehicle like that, unless Marc is some sort of Crocodile farmer.</TD></TR></TABLE>

I answered why for you. However, the rain we get here does make a higher vehicle a logical choice. That and the fact that he has to drive around housing communities that are being built, and thus aren't really paved all that well yet.

Ability to haul a bunch of things in all weather conditions without said things getting wet. It can be sunny and raining here at the same time and O-town rains pretty much every day this time of year.

But saying I have "a giant dick up his ***" is called for? "Hello kettle..."

I like swearing at Ross and some others because it makes them respond.

That and I'm an ******* and sick of most of the idiots on this forum.

I actually respect you.... and Ross...

If you have a problem with me however, that's cool.

Well, it certainly sounds as though you have a little mean streak going for some reason and I didn't think it was called for. If you really meant no harm, then I apologize.

You definitely got me to respond.

Nah not really, normally I respond at work when I'm bored so I try to generate replies so I can waste more time. Better than being bored at work at least. In this thread I was just more sick of the useless SUV bashing.

Congrats on the sale, i sold mine 2 weeks ago also. Any particular reasons for getting an SUV? Definitely not what i would be replacing my car with, but to each his own.
