Default Purge Fuel Pump?

Im buying a used Revhard kit from someone, and as many of you know it comes with a fuel pump to support the higher fuel pressures from the FMU. The guy who is selling is local to a relative of mine, and we are planning to just have the relative bring it with him when he comes to visit me in a couple weeks. My questions is, is there any way to completly clean the fuel pump of all fuel in order for us to be allowed to take it on the plane? I was thinking we could pull the fuel pump fuse then try to start the car, and that SHOULD clean out the line of any fuel left in it, but Im not positive this will work. Any suggestions welcome.

remove the pump from the fuel source and run it for a few seconds and all the fuel will be pumped out of it. Then if you want to be **** about it take an air line and blow compressed air to evaporate any remaining fuel residue.

just connect a hose from one side to the other an clamp it. That way if there is any fuel left in it, it can't leak anywhere...
