oil and spark plugs?
i was looking over things on my newly bought a crx si with a zc. i i pulled out the third spark plug wire and saw oil. so i unscrewed the plug and there were oil around the spark plug threading. but to add a twist, while i was started to unscrew the plug, i noticed that it was never screwed down completely. is there something seriously wrong with my zc, or it just needs a new plug? thanks for helping a crx newbie
Change out the groments on the valve cover and buy some new spark plugs, keep and eye on them after that. If you keep getting oil on the plugs it could be the rings, but a lot of the times its the groments and the oil seeps down onto the threads making its way to the bottom of the plug.

what the heck are groments? my crx is still primer grey. got the driveshaft taken out and waiting on the new one to arrive. and i noticed the cat isnt bolted on correctly, is that a known issue when swapping to the zc or did the rpevious owner just half assed it? gonna get that thing painted black with the ol' school 14 in black rims from the old tegs and got black/red interior. gonna post up pics once i get the paint done. freaken sweet a** car, fast as hell before shaft broke. gonna go hit up some pick-a-parts and look for cheap turbos. honda 4 life. screw those who buys toyotas with way overpriced parts.
