Default Ok to cut radiator fan blades for turbo?

I just put my turbo on and the turbo didn't clear the fan. I figured I just had to cut the fan shroud, but after doing so the blades still (just barely) hit the compressor. Would shaving the fans down a little hurt the performance. Can I just move the fan over like an inch and mount it somehow??

Replace the fan with a thinner fan. Derale makes good ones.

Definatley do NOT cut the fan blades, just buy a Slim fan and mount it in the front

are you using A/C, because the Driver's side fan cools the radiator when the A/C goes on. Going with just the passenger side fan is good enough. Otherwise get a slimfan if you feel like you are overheating or want security.
