2800? $2800 into your B16 will rock that GSR engine anyday.

**** that!
The B18C should like almost be a direct bolt in!
if you can pull the B16A out you can put a B18C in!
B16A from JHPUSA.COM 2500.00
B18C from JHPUSA.COM 3100.00
so your paying him 2500.00 B16A
2800.00 B18C & SWAP
total 5300.00!
sell your B16A -2000.00 ~ about
buy B18C +3400.00 w/ shipping
total 1400.00
swap it your self = priceless!

That is a terrible deal. I could find a gsr longblock for under $2k. Remember that your tranny, mounts, shift linkage, ecu, etc will all work on the gsr motor. You are getting suckered if you go threw with this.

keep the b16a2 and put the $2800 in it and you'll walk all over a gsr but if you really what to trade try and keep the tranny.Pops is a good guy i lived in o town 24 years and would deal with him alot but he's kind of high on some of his stuff.

that's not a fair trade at all. for $2800 you can get a turbo kit, and spank the **** out of the GSR.

i think that wrong becuz your tradding your motor plus 2800...my opinion your getting ripped off bro...piston for high comp. should be just around 1g plus install (i think) becuz piston are like 4-500 right?

i sold my b16a2 for $2300. i bought my b18c for $3200. did all the labor myself for $0. so, ya, that deal is terrible.... unless that price includes pulling your old motor and pushing the new one..... even then it's way too much.

by the way, engine lift = $160. helms manual = $90. spend $250, grab some friends, and you can get that swap done on your own.

Maybe someone here on H-T that lives in your area can help you out and teach you at the same time. Kick down some cash, meals, smokes, beer. It will be way cheaper and you'll learn a lot.

Save the $$$ and mod the B16.

LOL, that guy must have been foaming at the mouth when he saw that you were interested. Jesus man think about, your paying 2800 to swap from a B16 bottom end to a B18 bottom and a longer geared tranny. you != the winnAr in this deal.

$2800+ your motor?! not a good deal at all!....you can buy pistons for $400.....i spank gsr's all day long in my 00 civic si. if you do a trade..trade even up. that b18c1 motor isnt ****... youll be better off dropping $2800 into an ls/vtec..and you can still sell your motor for an extra $2000...

or GO TURBO
