Default CAR WONT FU*KIN start.

I need help on figuring out why my car wont start. It might be that stupid main relay but i havent drove the car yet today. Yes its hot outside and once or twice it did start then stall. But now I dont hear anything goin on. Maybe fuel pump? My car is a 92 civic dx...

Is there gas in it?

When you troubleshoot, start with the smallest, stupidist, most obvious thing. Work from there. See if you can hear it prime when you turn the key, check for spark, etc. etc.

check fuses.. check fuel pump.. when it does start does it strugle to run.. ie: spuderring, backfires, like its choking?.... could even be the timing.

You really didn't give them very much information to work with... if you don't hear anything check the fuel pump. I'm not an expert, but couldn't you loosen the pressure bolt on the fuel filter, put it back in, try to start it, then take the bolt back out, and if theres no pressure its dead?

You might check the coil too. When it went bad, my car would crank. But since it did start up, sounds like the main relay. I just changed mine and it is fine now.

That's what I'd say. My car did...and continues to do...the same exact thing. I know it's my main relay, I "borrowed" my friends, problem solved.

They are around $50 bucks from the dealer. I don't know that you can fix it.
