Default Brake noise

I jsut installed my cobalt GT-Sport pads a week ago getting ready for the Expo and I have a problem I think.

Under light pedal pressure coming to a stop I get this very loud hum out of the back brakes. I'm not sure which side. It does not do it at speeds higher than 15mph. Any ideas.

Thanks!

Yep, followed the directions to the letter. My old pads did the same thing as they got used.

Not sure. It does affect the braking performance from what I can tell, I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem.

Did you retract the rear caliper pistons properly? If so, what tool did you use? Have you checked that the rear caliper dust shields are installed correctly?
