HELP...
So i got my used safc and im installing it...i have a 91 integra, pr4 ecu...i went to apexi-usa.com and looked at the manual...i hooked up 5 wires...the ones they said...ill post wich ones if you need to know them...my car is in no condtion to start yet (head is torn off) but i dont think this has anything to do with it...i cant get the SAFC to stay on, i have to hold the buttons down, and then its useless to use...when i turn my ignition ON the SAFC should come on i beleive...HELP HELP HELP

 

i would have to say TRIPLE check your connections.

If it still doesn't initialize when you turn the key, i'd be thinking the used safc is junk

 

I will triple check everything...but when i had it right when i got it...i just put the red wire on the positive battery termina, and black wire on the negative battery terminal...and i still had to hold the buttons down get it to turn on...so i think that would illiminate my connections not being so great...

 

SAFC version 1 im assuming?(not SAFC II)
so... diagram H-1 here?

 

Ok i have all of those 5 wires hooked up, from diagram H1...Anyother ideas? Are these the only 5 wires i hook up? there are 10 total wires in the harness...

 

only 2 possible problems in my mind loose power connection or safc is botched up internally. Get a meter and see if you have pwer to the safc after it has turned off.

 

I got it...There is 2 ground, black and brown wire...i only had the black hooked up!!! Thanx
