Just Got Back From the DYNO...Results Inside !!!
My 2001 ITR results are as follows:
Run #1: Peak hp = 178.8 hp @ 8000rpm
Peak torque = 129.2 ft/lbs @ 6400rpm
Run #2: Peak hp = 178.3 hp @ 8000rpm
Peak torque = 129.1 ft/lbs @ 6500rpm
My mods are as follows:
Mobil 1 Synthetic 5w-30
Spoon Thermostat
Spoon Thermoswitch
Spoon Radiator Cap
No A/C (no belt)
DC JDM 4-1 Header
2.5" CATCO hi flow cat
2.5" custom cat back piping
2.5" inlet/outlet Dynomax muffler
15,000 miles on car
CEL #67
Both runs were done at Dynamic Autosports in Irvine, CA on a DynoJet 248C Dynamometer.
So what you guys think? I'm very happy with the results considering my mods and the guy who performed the dyno said it looks like I got a really strong ITR.

Nope...have never touched the timing. I'm assuming it's still at the stock 16 degree setting, unless it was slightly advanced from the factory.

By the way, for all you skeptics out there, I think my dyno proves that CEL #'s relating to emissions do not affect performance at all.
So all those test pipes out there with catalytic material around the second O2 sensor aren't really necessary, unless of course you just hate the light being on.

I love my exhaust system. It doesn't sound "twangy" at all, but is rather really deep and throaty.
DC CC JDM 4-1 Header = $300
2.5" CATCO hi flow cat = $100
2.5" Custom piping = $50
2.5" inlet/outlet Dynomax muffler (Pep Boys) = $30
Total = $480 ... Not too bad, eh?

CEL 67 means that I have a Check Engine Light on and it's giving me Code 67, which refers to Catalyst Below Efficient Threshold. Basically it means that my hi flow cat is not as effective as the stock cat, and my computer is telling me so. No worries though.
