buzzing cluster

Default buzzing cluster

when yea like the topic says when im driving i can hear this stupud buzzing coming from the cluster. and is that stuff needa get rid of it asap other then that my car will be silent for once!!!!!!

how would i know what kind of mounts they are? and where are they located?

If you don't know then chances are you don't have them...
Either way, they're your engine mounts...
look on either side of the motor, mine are red so they stick out...
i think they sell yellow and black too...

wat will the engine mounts have anything to do with the sound coming out of my cluter??? and my mounts are black with a stock d15.

do you have a light buzzer so that when you leave your lights on a buzzer gos off cuz i installed on in my crx and it buzzed as i drove but not really louad

if its abuzz in the cluster did you put indiglo gauges in it you might have a weak ground. thats what happend to me the gauges still worked but you could hear that damn noise

double check all the screw mounts on the cluster....the hood has 4 mounting screws, if your missing one, then it may be a rattle as opposed to the buzzing...as far a why urethane mounts would be significant, Im assuming due to vibration...correct me if Im wrong...

either way...heres a thought...take off the cluster while the car is running and see where the sound is coming from....sound lile a plan?? hth

maybe speedo cable. Had a problem like that with my mustang once. Pull the cable off both ends one on tranny and one on cluster back and lube it up should make it go away.
