i know i could have searched, but i'm in a rush and i know its a simple yes or no question.

i have a 97 y8, my tranny is is in pretty bad shape (grinds in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th and cokmes out sometimes in 3rd. ****** who had the car before me didn't know how to drive stick! ). Anywho, will a tranny from a 92-95 ex bolt right up. If so, what do i need to know as far as switching sensors, bolts or anything. Thanx for all the help in advance.

PS..I will need the clutch too, so will that bolt up too? If i wind up getting a clutch right now for my y8 will that bolt on to a z6?

thanx alot......are the gears pretty much the same between the two? The gears on mine are long as hell. I feel like i'm driving an auto sometimes....lol......are the z6 gears the same thing are the longer shorter?

whats that?..important?.....you don't mean like the reverse light?

 

it will be perfectly fine dude.. at and the clutch goes on the engine side anyways so u will have to get the clutch for the y8 engine.. but im pretty sure they are the same for both regardless..
