Default Clock and Radio have no constant power

I have a 92 accord and my stereo and clock don't receive a constant volt. I've checked all the fuses under the steering wheel and all the ones under the hood and they're all fine. The constant wire must be fried or disconnected somewhere. It's not that big of a problem but now I bought a pioneer head unit and it won't turn on at all without the constant. If i can check the line somehwere, where and how should i do it? Can i then run a bypass from another accesory suchas my domelite to the radio/clock?

I've never done anything really with electrical wiring for my car before. Would you be able to give me some instruction?

Then your deck would always be on. you would have to power it on and off rather then it going on and off with the acc.

well if his old headunit turned on and off with the ignition then attaching a new power wire wouldnt change that....unless the ignition wire is fried too

just to let you know the same circuit that powers the memory for your clock and radio also powers the memory for your ECU's trouble codes.
