Default smoke. but not smoke. wierd.

just got back from driving hard all night. we were sitting @ a wawa and my friend says, u car is smoking dude.

i look and you can see a little bit of grey white smoke ocming from my one headlight ( above it ) we open and hood and we see nothing, nothing melting, nothong over heated, nothin leaking.... cannot fiqure what the hell it is...anyone ever have this?

my car dumps a lot of smoke from the extra fuel i have.... but never out the headlights... did u do a burn out or something of that sort?

I wouldnt worry about it too much, check the oil level. I doubt your headlight is smoking from you driving your car hard unless your low on halogen fluid. Its prolly smoking from the header, maybe it reached some high temps from you pushing the car that maybe it burning off some oil, paint or crud that must of been sitting on the header.

My thoughts exactly. Oh and yea u might wanna check the halogen fluid...lmao

I used to have as light radiator leak, that splashed onto my header once, and got a nice little cloud of smoke from that. If that was the case though, you'd probably notice a lot more smoke, so I'm clueless. Probably isn't too serious. Hope not, at least.

i had the same problem with my rex. i had a leak in the upper radiator hose, and i would get smoke out of the headlights also. check the clamps in the upper radiator.

Had you just recently come to a sto or had you been sitting there? If you just rolled up and stopped it can just be road dirt/dust that kicked up. Everytime I get off the interstate and stop a little "smoke" apprears in front of my cars lights...just a thought.
