Brief question on z6 manifold on a b2..
I have a Skunk2 Intake manifold which I was going to put onto my z6, but I am most likely selling the z6 now. I was going to convert my b2 to MPFI anyways..so could I just go with the z6 manifold, distributor, etc? The only two z6 parts I can think off the top of my head would just be the manifold and dist- or would I also need to basically use every last piece off of a z6 as well? I just would like to know, because if I don't need it, I'll sell the damn thing..people are interested already.

i had the duel point to mpfi conversion in my old ef and it caused more problems then good...... buy an si wireharness.... ive found for like 100 bones..... get that and swap out your whole z6 head....unless u want money
I just did a d16z6 in my crx. And I used the 88-91 distributor and injectors. You have to modify your distributor to fit the d16z6. If you wanna go obd1 I got the z6 distributor and wiring harness for sale. http://www.cardomain.com/id/mylilrex
you can see my z6 swap on there

Thanks for all the quick replies fella's. My only concern with the z6, is that I still need to get an ECU, and settle the tranny issue (the DX tranny works, right?). Secondly, The z6 does not look exactly like a prize engine in it's current state. I need to replace quite a bit of stuff on it as it is. Which brings me to the next question...
Anyone know roughly how much a set of OEM pulley's are from honda? I was going to just go with lighter pulley's, but I know that with a turbocharged application, the consensus seems to be that OEM is better. Either way, the stock pulley's on there are rusted, so I'd like to get ahold of some OEM's. Thanks again..

Use your pulleys from your dx motor. They are lighter than the d16z6 pulleys. Also yes the dx tranny will work but if you can get a hold of a si or zc tranny pick it up they have better gearing. I can help you out with your z6 swap. Like i said i just did the same swap and i have a crx dx.
Ah, I didn't realize the DX pulleys would work, cool. Yeah, it's times like these I wish I had an Si to not deal with all the junk of having a DX, but I love my rex none-the-less.
Yeah, I know about the Si/ZC trannies having better gearing and stuff, but to get this thing on the road, I'll probably use the DX temporarily, while I find (and have rebuilt) an Si transmission.
Right now, the order of business is just ordering parts and whatnot for the z6 before it goes in. On the top of that list are sleeves, pistons, and rods. I can do a lot of the work once it's in, but I want the pistons/rods/new sleeves (GE) in before the engine goes in. It'll save from headaches down the road. Even then, I have to buy parts 2 wks at a time (paychecks
. I appreciate the help, though.
