Default All those people with reare drum........how do i adjust them

I need to adjust my rear drums..........does anyone know how to do this.?

take the drum off and towards the top of the assembly between the shoes there's a bar with threads on it, spin in to desired level(just before you can't get the drum back on..."slight drag"). it's pretty much the only thing you can adjust... other than the cables themselves....

why would you need to adjust them?? The rear drums have built in adjusting mechanisms. unless you just changed your rear shoes. inside the drum there is a starwheel that can be turned one way to expand and locks the other way to loosen. on the back there is a hole that you will need to get a flathead or adjusting spoon to get to it. Of course you will need to have your drums in there.

that mechanism doesnt work at all, you need to adjust manually turn the small dented wheel conterclockwise until you obtain the desired adjustment
