IAB question for u guys.
What up h-t users. i got a question thats been bothering me for sometime. I've done all the searches on iab and i still dont really understand the answer to my question. For all u gsr owneers running a skunk2 manifold in your ride, did u guy remove the IAB sensor and black box from your car or did u just leave it on? Also if your using a kenji p28 ecu and obd2 to obd1 jumper harness will that eliminate the IAB? Is it better to run the car with or without a IAB? and for all u guys that dont know what iab is it stands for intake air bypass which is used to open your secondary butterflies in the gsr intake manifold.
The IAB sends no feedback to the ECU. You can disconnect it. P28 ECUs have no IAB output. The IAB is what is unique about the P72 ECU. (I know, some Preludes also have an IAB.)
If you have a Skunk2 manifold, the IAB is irrelevant. The stock GS-R manifold with the IAB active is more driveble to to low and mid range torque benefits.

yeah P28s don't look for the IABs. the thing about the IABs not being hooked up is you'll lose some low to mid range torque, but the skunk2 IM doesn't have the IABs.
