1992 Integra Center light Problem
Not quite sure what is going on with my inner most lights on my 1992 integra.
I think they're supposed to be foglights or something of that nature. However, i cant get them to come on.
I've tried every combination i can think of to get these damn things to come on (parking lights, head lights, de-fogger switch) . On top of that, I have checked the bulbs, i have checked the connecters, i have pulled the complete piece out... everything seems to be fine.
When i turn the switch on for the fog lights, the little light turns on (on the switch) however, no lights fromt he front of my car.
Thank you ahead of time for your help.

You may want to go to http://www.g2ic.com and look through the TegTips. I believe there is a wire diagram in there. It sounds like some idiot tried to do a home wire rig and screwed it.
The fogs, if wired from the factory, will only come on when the fog switch is on AND the headlights are on low beam. High beam they will switch off, and they do not come on alone without home rigging.
BTW - where are your bumper lights, and your front lip? Also some one changed your corners to clear. I mention these things because it sounds like the car is new to you.

when i push the button to turn on the fogs, the light on the button doesn't come on. Does that mean its the relay?
TIA

could be that someone didn't re-plug the switch back in.
Anyway... I've been through g2ic.com... I'll have to check for that. The previous ouner... did alot of things that he didnt have any concept of how to do it properly...
Any other suggestions?

You can verify this by pulling the switch out of the bezel and use a voltmeter/multimeter to see if it is passing current when you switch it on. If yes, then pull the bulb plug and test at that end. If yes, then it is a bad bulb. If you hit a no, at any point you know between the points where the problem is. I don't know the exact readings you should get, but I can guess it is 0v when off, and let's say it is 12v when on. I would think you shoud get the same on the other end. If you find the switch is working fine and you know the previous owner was an idiot, then I am thinking you are going to have to pull the bumper to inspect the wiring. There is a good chance that "bonehead" home wired some other fogs/other lights to the front and never reconnected it.
