clutch/tranny probs again please help?
i dont really know whats goin on, the car pulls fine if i get it in gear it never slips but the the clutch wont disengage. Some one told me it was the clutch cable but it pulls the release lever. any ideas or is my clutch just shot.
What do you mean casue technically disenged means you have it in gear and moving when the cluch is engaged you pull it from the flywheel and you stop moving make sense.
If you mean you put it in first and you move around but, can't get it in to second then it could be either the clutch or the cable if the cable is fine I would go with getting the clutch, throw out bearing and pressure plate replaced but, I could be wrong.

Wait... You press the pedal down to disengage the clutch.
Now then. You say it pulls the throw-out lever, but does it move ENOUGH? Know anyone with a similar cable clutch? How far is the lever supposed to move? (Mine is hydraulic, but it moves about 13mm.)
If that checks out OK, then it must be in the clutch. The disk might be warping, so it drags? Maybe a broken spring getting lodged in there? You probably won't know for sure until you take it out.
