If I recall correctly, isn't Magnaflow USDM made? LOL!!!!. I say you go with HKS Hi-power. Friend has it and it sounds clean, purrs like a lion. Adds hp and doesnt come close to sounding like a cheap coffee can at all.

what's wrong with some US products? I'm sure you heard of MSD ignition, Crower, Skunk2, Hondata, etc...

True Kal, I agree with you. Yes Hondata is top of the line for greatly increased redline, great boost of rpm. I hear little of Skunk2. MSD ignition and Crower, I never heard of.

Certain USDM products are weak in my opinion... I'm sure you browsed through some car mags and found some to be imitations, replicas, and basically all show no go of real products that have real power in them.

I like the Invidia. Ive heard it on a Civic Type R and it sounds really nice. It has a nice growl to it and doesnt sound rapsy at all. Its slightly angled and comes with silencers I believe if need be. It looks like a real quality piece. Im guessing it wouldnt sound much different on the Type S because it essentially has the same engine.

Here is a link to some sound clips courtesy of VtecManiac at Ephatch.com:

I am running a Mugen Sports exhaust and a Toda eace header. When I had just the Mugen on there is was as quiet as stock, and when I added the race header, it made it louder and meaner sounding, without adding any rice at all.

a lot of USDM products are nice. Even though i choose not to use them, it doesnt mean they are not good. Omni Power coilovers are US, but they are way nice. MSD and Holley (makers of NOS, etc) make some decent quality stuff. Magnaflow is also very nice, exhausts as lights as 5kg and at a decent price is way nice. I would never buy magnaflow, but it doesnt mean that it sucks.

I would look at the DC sports TCS 2. Its almost like the mugen twin loop and is supposed to sound really good. I want it for my civic but they don't make that application. I'll probably get a custom mid pipe and just buy the TCS 2 axle back...

i would get the mugen twin loop.

if u want a ricey sounding / loud exhaust, spoon n1.

if u want a totally jdm, super cool looking exhaust, go for titanium, or the new rays gram lights.

I agree 100% with you.

My recommendation for you as said before, jdm's Hks Hi-power. It's top of the line with a few others. Best out yet for DC5's and EP3's.

That is a joke. There are so many exhausts out there that are better.

Once you understand the dynamics of the k series you will understand.

As for anyone that says Fujitsubo PG, keep in mind that Toda traded out the PG for the Mugen so as to realize better flow.

Kal, maybe you didn't take time to read what I said.

The fact was I said that it's top of the line with few good others.

The opinion was that I stated it's the best out yet.

Thanks.
