Engine management for turbo application
Is it as simple as a VAFC and injectors, or should I look into uberdata or hondata. Boost level will be set at 7 psi, nothing major. It is this reason why I think my VAFC and 450cc injectors will in fact do the job and my Walbro 255 fuel pump
Does anybody have any advice, recommendations, etc?
Thanks, Mike

uberdata
will cost less than $70 to get everything to get up and running (minus a wideband).
and unless you're a complete retard you can handle chipping the ecu and installing the injectors yourself.
get the 450s also; check out dsmtraders.com or dsmtrader.com dont remember. i bought my blue 450s for $20 shipped :-p they work like a champ!
and i'd get a good pump to go with those injectors also. shop around though and buy used to save money

ok, say when a person goes uberdata,
for instance i got a guy who wants to go turbo in his ls integra and i'm debating on what engine management to run him on
how much would it cost total to go uberdata, its a 95 integra, bone stock.
what all would i need and how much would it usually cost,
is there a web site that shows where to chip the ecu?

I found this great how-to:

From what I gather you need an OBDI Honda ECU. Won't work with OBDII or non-Honda ECUs. (Though I'm sure it would be possible, if someone would spend a few thousand hours of research on other ECUs)

no, you'd have to run a p28 or something.

if your car is obd2 then all you have to do is buy an obd1 ecu and an obd2 to obd1 harness so you are converted to obd1 and everything will work just the same
