put a b18b in a 90 integ and havin problems startin it up.

starter wasn't operating so we unbolted it and directly wired it up to test it
and it operates just fine however when we bolt it back in, it again doesn't work.

any suggestions?

Did you make sure the power feeds in the car are live? Fuses?

 

make sure the wires are live and have power running through them, or it could just be a miss connection for the power

 

all the power is correct and exactly where it should be .. 12.5 volts all the way around .. i tested it at every point including at the starter.. the starter is also verified that it has a ground.
