i have a clifford intelliguard 8000 alarm in my ek hatch..as my car was getting painted, the idiots at the body shop didn't sealed the car enough so water leaked inside the car and into my alarm's control unit..i pulled it out and opened the box and it there is a brown spot on the circuit board..now this is obviosly a problem because my car didnt want to start nor the alarm wanted to arm..this model has lifetime warranty but i am not the original owner so i was wondering if anyone knows somewhere i can buy a new control unit

 

u can probably get it online or at any car place that sells alarms.

 

Call up the company, they should replace it directly for you.

 

got in contact with clifford...glad to help me..ill get a new unit in 3-5 days
