Default Will a shop get offended if I can get the alarm cheaper some where else?

If I found a new good quality alarm system through a connection or e-bay and asked an authorized installer to install it, will they reject it?

Some will some won't, ask around first. Most places will do it but some will charge more than if you bought from them.

They wont reject it.. usally they will say something like.. o that alarm stinks,, we might not know how to install it.. so buy one of ours... just make sure you have the manuel for the alarm and they will install it.. ive got afew alarms installed thats what i always hear... i usally get it installed for 40-50 bucks or so... but then im annoying so you mite need to harrass to get a good price.

I do tend to get this way too. But you don't want to upset the guy that is installing the alarm. After all it's our cars he is trying to protect.

My shop would not reject it, and any good shop shouldn't, we charge the same as if you got it from us, we install it the same as our own, we give the same lifetime warranty on the install as we do with everything we install.

If it is a brand or model we have seen problems with, we will say so and what the problems are, and if someone has a problem with something we installed, all you have to do is show up , you don't need an appointment, and we will look at it, to see if its a install related problem, and fix it,[no charge] if its not install related and you didnt get it from us, you will have to return it to were you got it, and up to this point we will not charge you, after that we charge a shop min. 1/2 hr labour to reinstall it.

What if it's an alarm your shop is authorized to sell, worked with and install?
