engine removal
hey everyone.. i feel like a dumbass for asking, and ive done my share of searching but, im looking for a engine removal guide for a ef civic hatch with a d15. just picked up my b16a1 and i don't wanna screw it up... any input would be appreciated
rent a hoist, get a couple large chains with bolt holes so you can bolt the chains to areas of your block and tranny..get a buddy...disconnect everything from wires to axles and everything in between...and yank her out dood...have fun
try the using the search. but it is easy to do, disconnect the fuel, heater lines engine harness, intake, radiator, axles, shift linkage, clutch cable vaccum lines, the 4 mounts, battery, and lower the tranny side and lift the t-belt side out first and it should be real easy, getting the b16 in is the same but backwards.
