i need some help please. ive got a 96 civic sedan ex. i swapped out the stock d16y8 sohc vtec engine out for a 2000 si b16 dohc engine. the car currently is running okay but my check engine light is on and when i put a scanner on the data link connector it read out of range or error. engine, tranny, engine harness and ecu are all from si. the dash harness is stock from the ex. when i did the swap my cooling fan and speed o did not work but all i had to do was swap the pin locations. please if anyone can help me in any way such as what wires to connect or even point me in some direction i would gladly appreciate it. thanks so much.
