i dont think it is anything bad. its done it ever since last winter. no problems since then and it grips just fine and dandy.

Only feel the click when you let off the gas, like from a full throttle, to letting off you then feel the click?
Is it audible?

I've got to pull my tranny in a couple weeks so I can put new synchros in it and put on an ITR flywheel, I'll do it then.

Well I tried pulling my CV's this weekend. First time on this honda about the 10th time I've done it though. Got the driver's side out. Not really any problems there. When I got to the passenger side, it just got shitty. I can't get the CV out of the transmission. I went to Sears and bought a prybar set. I had a 17 inch and 2 foot prybar on it, and couldn't bust it out.
On a sidenote, it got so bad on the way home, I thought my tranny was going to lock up. I cut the boots on my CV's the were perfect looking inside. I'm dropping the tranny today. I'm just going to buy a new one, then fix this one for my CRX.

I've never had a CV I couldn't get out w/ a long screwdriver. This sucks.

At times the little rings on the end of the axles can spread, causing the axles to stick in the tranny.
Ive had a couple where I thought I was going to break the tranny housing getting it out.
Can you see the axle from the other side? You said you got the driver off right? Well, can you peer in the hole and see the other axle? Sometimes there is a pin in the way, but try to get a clear shot with a punch, or see if the ring is bound.

I figured that's what the problem is. I ended up breaking my seal. I think. It started leaking fluid while trying to break it loose. I'd have to pull my intermediate shaft to see into the tranny. I'll check when I pull the tranny tonight. I figured 2 200+ lb guys w/ prybars would be stronger than the spring clip.

Talked to the guy at Hasport, he said the locking is common w/ LSD trannies. He gave me the same advice you did.
