Should I wait to get a alarm? Or put on my rims with lug nuts?

I really want to put my rims on. I get paid in a few weeks and I am deciding on getting a really good pager alarm with all the bells and whistles. Starter kill, back up siren, back up battery, motion sensors....... Or buy some tires for my rims I have sitting at home. I will get lock nuts. Is my car safe? My friend is also getting a set of lug nuts and we were thinking about mixing and matching.
definitely need lug nuts to keep the rims on...
mismatching wont make a difference..if a thief wants em he'll get around that...but i'd suggest getting the alarm first...its a better investment..

Get your alarm first so that way if you have a good alarm it should detect that somebody is messing with your car or in your case rims. Alarm is a better investment in the long run.

Doesnt make a difference, they are all easy to get off, so one wheel lock should be fine.

My brother spent over $10,000 modifying his Honda Civic (wheels, tires, complete suspension and brake upgrades, etc), but literally did not spend a single penny on any form of auto security. He now regrets his decision very much. His car was quietly stolen, while he was home, only a few feet away from his front door. This happened in a highly upscale and gated apartment complex in the suburbs.
Because of unfortunate occurences like this, that is why I always recommend security first, then mods.

Yes yes its very unfortunate that many of us has learned this lesson the hard way... You should get ur alarm first, learn from our mistakes.
Even though many thieves can just get through it, having alarm/autolock really gives you peace of mind than without any at all...

I think if you currently do not have an alarm in your car, you don't get a discount on your insurance as well right?
Just making sure
