Vacuum lines?

Default Vacuum lines?

Ive got a 92 honda civic...im wondering if you actually need the vacuum line goin into the valve cover or not? the one that comes out of the intake!? thanks!

Well you don't NEED it........... but you should either put a breather on it or keep the line to the intake.

Only thing is, look at the inside of your intake further up the pipe, from the hose. Any oil in there? That vacuum line occasionally takes in a little oil, which can get into the intake and gum up the throttlebody.

Basically it's a vent out for the cylinder head..... I wouldn't cap it off.

thanks man...no hard feelings bout our messages earlier? haha anyway yea i planned on putting a breather filter on the head. and capping off the vacuum line comin out of the intake. Just wanted to make sure there was still a vacuum created with my intake. or if it would hurt performance if i didnt have that vacuum. write back if u have anymore suggestions!
