Default rear disk swap caliper problem....

im in the middle of a rear disk swap but im having trouble getting the caliper to fit over the new pads.

the bleeder screw is loose but i cant get the C-clamp to push the caliper piston down anymore. It wont budge at all

Does anyone know of something im doing wrong here?

FYI im installing axis metal master pads and brembo rotors.

try putting in one of the old pads and squeezing it again. also it might be easier to have the pads in the caliper then putting it over the rotor

Actually, you don't push in the rear caliper pistons, you kinda screw them in in a clockwise rotation.

your doing it all wrong take a pry bar or a big flathead and stick it in the grooves of the piston and turn it clock wise and it will go down.

Yup! I usually use needle nose pliers to screw them in since I don't have any pry bars.

Try a c clamp, I doubt both calipers are seized at the same time.
