feels like i'm loosing a little power near the top..
when i took out the D15, i had 2 vac hoses that came off the intake manifold..
when i put in the D16, i just kinda picked one for one spot and the other for the other..
haven't been any problems with the engine, it's strong, smooth, and i'm very pleased.. but it seems like i'm loosing a little near the top end..
are the vac hoses reversable, or do they need to be in the right spot.. and if they need to be in the right spot, how can i tell which one goes where on the D16 intake ?
or am i just loosing a little near the top end because i dont have many mods.. (i've got a CAI, 4:2:1 header, chipped PM6) catback is still stock DX (hiflo cat isn't on yet, waiting till i can do the entire catback at once..)

What are the vac lines going to? Maybe your timing is off, because if the vac lines needed to go somewhere performance critical it would probably run like $hit. Check timing, that should be the problem and tell me at what RPM it feels like it's dropping off.
Remember, retard=more low end Advance=more top end. Too much of either one=runs like crap.

well, one of the vac lines goes into the throttlebody forward of the air intake.. the other goes into the back side of the intake manifold..
not sure what RPM exactly, dont have a tach yet.. heh..
i'll check out the timing.. thanks..
